NaadiPariksha (Pulse diagnosis) :

NaadiPariksha is an ancient non-invasive diagnostic tool to analyse the dosha imbalances in the body. Based on the pulse of the person at various points, it diagnoses physical, mental and emotional imbalances. Our doctors recommend preventive or curative measures according to the diagnosis.

Uzhichil :

Uzhichil is an Ayurvedic whole body massage. It rejuvenates the nervous and muscular systems of the body and enhances the blood circulation. Uzhichil also enhances the general fitness of a person.

Swedana (Steam Bath) :

Swedana is a herbal steam therapy. The therapy induces perspiration, detoxes and the benefits are manifold. This is usually an add-on to other treatments.

Shirodhara :

Shirodhara is a wonderful relaxation process in which the scalp and forehead receive a gentle caressing massage by a thin stream of medicated lukewarm oil. The medicated oil is poured from a certain height for a specific time, continuously and rhythmically allowing the oil to run through the scalp and hair. This purifying and rejuvenating therapy eliminates toxins and mental exhaustion. It relieves stress and its ill effects on the central nervous system. Shirodhara helps in the treatment of diseases and disorders related to the head, neck, eyes, ears, nose, throat and the central nervous system.

Shiro Abhyanga/Head Massage :

This Ayurvedic head massage is an exquisitely relaxing experience. It brings in an exhilarating yet peaceful feeling and has diverse benefits like restful sleep, relief from stress and younger and healthier skin and hair.

Foot Massage / Padabhyanga :

Our therapists work gently and rhythmically on the various pressure points of your feet, leaving your feet feeling light and completely relaxed!

Marma :

Marma healing is an invigorating and relaxing therapy. It works on the subtle energy points in your body and enhances and balances the flow of Prana.

Shila Abhyanga / Ayurvedic Stone Massage :

Shila Abhyanga is a slow, deep tissue massage using herbal Ayurvedic oils and water-heated basalt stones of various sizes. This massage stimulates the circulatory system, softens and relaxes the muscles, helps release toxins, induces a state of deep relaxation and relieves pains and muscle spasms.

Udwartana (Dry Powder Massage) :

This is a full body exfoliation and lymphatic drainage massage similar to Uzhichil but more invigorating. It uses specially blended, deeply penetrating herbal powders. This is very effective as a weight reduction treatment.

Pizhichil :

In Pizhichil (Sarvangadhara), the body is anointed with a continuous stream of healing oils. It helps fix Vata imbalances.

Patra Pinda Sweda / Elakizhi :

The whole body or a specific area is massaged to induce perspiration using warm boluses of fresh herbal preparation made from 15 medicinal plants and other herbal ingredients,. The medicinal plants and herbs used have the property to reduce nerve inflammation.

Shashtika Sali Pinda Sweda / Njavara Kizhi :

The whole body is massaged to induce perspiration using warm boluses containing a fresh preparation of special rice in milk. It is a cardinal treatment for diseases affecting the nervous system.

Choorna Pinda Sweda :

In this therapy several types of grains and special ingredients are powdered and tied into boluses. The boluses are made warm and the whole body is massaged and made to perspire. This massage is very effective for inflammatory joint problems.

Jambeera Pinda Sweda :

The whole body or a specific area is massaged and made to perspire using warm boluses of fresh herbal preparation with lemon and other medicinal ingredients.

Nirooha Vasti / Kashaya Vasti :

This therapy is enema with medicinal decoctions triturated with the mixtures of honey and ghee. It removes collected toxins from the intestines. This is usually alternated with the Sneha Vasti.

Udwartana (Dry Powder Massage) :

This is a series of 8 treatments, beginning with Sneha Vasti and followed by Kashaya Vasti. These two treatments are given on alternate days and the last two treatments are concluded with Sneha Vasti.

Kala Vasti :

A series of 16 treatments, beginning with Sneha Vasti and followed by Kashaya Vasti. These two treatments are given on alternate days and the last four treatments are concluded with Sneha Vasti.

Karma Vasti :

This is another variation of Sneha Vasti, in which a minor dose of the oil is administered. This treatment helps increase the mobility in the joints, increases the muscular activity of the intestines, increases the nerve activity and lubricates the muscles over the bones. A series of 30 treatments, beginning with Sheha Vasti and followed by Kashaya Vasti. These two treatments are given on alternate days and the last six treatments are concluded with Sneha Vasti.

Kati Vasti :

Specially prepared warm herbal oil is poured over the lower back and retained for the required duration inside a corral made of black gram paste. Kati Vasti alleviates lower back conditions like Lumbar Spondylosis, Inter Vertebral Disc Prolapses, Lumbago (low back ache) and Sciatica.

Uro Vasti :

Specially prepared warm herbal oil is poured over the chest and retained inside a corral made of black gram paste. The healing properties of the herbal oil enriches the blood and builds and maintains strong muscle and connective tissues. This is a stimulating and therapeutic treatment for muscular chest pain.

Greeva Vasti :

Specially prepared warm herbal oil is poured over the neck and retained inside a corral made of black gram paste. Greeva Vasthi alleviates neck and upper back conditions like Cervical Spondylosis, stiff neck, pain due to strain and other such problems.

Janu Vasti :

In Janu Basti, specially prepared warm medicated herbal oil is poured over the knee and retained inside a corral made of black gram paste. It relieves knee joint pain and osteoarthritis of the knee joint.

Lepanam :

Lepana involves external application of a medicated paste to alleviate pain in inflammatory conditions. This is very effective in treating Psoriasis, pimples, marks on the skin, pigmentation, Arthritis with swelling and pain, injuries and skin infections.

Pichu :

A thick layer of cotton wool soaked in warm medicated oil is applied externally over the affected areas that require treatments for conditions like Back pain, Osteo-arthritis, Spondylitis, injuries and other such problems.

Talapothichil (Shirolepa) :

In this treatment, medicinal pastes are applied on the entire scalp. This treatment is renowned for its ability to heal problems related to the head and neck regions like migraine, certain psychosomatic diseases, arthritis, headache, insomnia, mental illness, hypertension, sinusitis and others.

Nasya & Dhoomapana :

Nasya or nasal therapy is a potent method to purify and nurture the mind and senses. This therapy cleanses, purifies and strengthens the nasal passages, thus allowing deep and easy breathing. It has miraculous results in treating congestion, allergies, sinusitis, headaches, migraine, rhinitis and other nasal infections. Dhoomapana is the inhalation of medicated fumes. It is an effective treatment for various sinus and respiratory diseases.

Vamana :

Vamana is a procedure where toxins in the upper part of the body (till the diaphragm and respiratory tract) are removed by medicated emesis.

Virechana :

Virechana is a detoxification procedure by which toxins that cause circulatory disorders and toxins related to the abdomen and pelvis are removed by purgation.

Raktamokshana :

Raktamokshana is an effective procedure used for local detoxification by removing impure blood as in cases of eczema, acne, scabies, leucoderma, rash, metastatic and non- metastatic tumors.
